Tips for First Timers
What Class Should I Take?
You may take any class you like. We have wonderful instructors here at our studio and recommend that you try them all! Please let our teachers know about any injuries or special needs you may have prior to the beginning of your class.
How Do I Get Started?
Chose your class on our schedule and arrive 10 minutes before class starts. Be sure to let the instructor know that you are new to the studio or new to yoga.
What Should I Wear to Class?
We suggest comfortable workout clothing. You do not need to wear designer yoga attire. We recommend that you practice barefoot.
How Should I Prepare for Class?
Try not to eat for two hours before your class. If you have a yoga mat bring it. If not, we you are welcome to borrow one of ours. Many of our students like to bring a water bottle as well. We have bolsters, straps, blocks, and other accessories on hand that your instructor may recommend.
Registering for Classes & Sign-in
Once you've decided on a class to take, you can visit our schedule page to register in advance. You can pay the drop-in rate, or buy one of our class packages to save money. See our pricing page for details.
When you buy a class online, you'll be asked to create a MindBody account. If you buy a class package, when you sign-up for additional classes online, they will automatically count towards your package amount.
You can also buy a drop-in class or package with your class instructor on site. We accept cash, check, or charge in the studio. If you purchase a package, we'll create a card to help keep track of your classes, and file it in the box on the check-in table.
Whether you've registered online or drop by in person, when you arrive at class, please sign in so that the instructor can confirm your registration.
